We are pleased to share we are now a Dolly Parton's Imagination Library affiliate! DPIL is the largest children’s literacy program in the world and provides a free book mailed to a child’s home monthly from birth up to age 5. Participants must live in Eau Claire & Dunn Counties.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has been shown to increase the frequency of reading books together, leading to increased kindergarten readiness.

Stop by the Family Resource Center playroom to complete a registration form

Please allow 6-8 weeks for book delivery after you receive a confirmation email.

As the local champion, the Family Resource Center and its partners work to enroll children and secure funding. The Family Resource Center and it partners are able to get books at $2.20 per child per month. That cost includes wholesale books and mailing. Your donation helps support our ongoing efforts to ensure every child under 0 to 5 in Dunn and Eau Claire Counties have access to books at no cost to their families.
